Papa Winner mériterait d'être récompensé de ses efforts, dans cet "handicap-plancher" où Thomas Crown, qui sait finir très vite ses courses, Madencia, qui s'entend à merveille avec Maxime Guyon, et Olirodigan, qui ne doit pas seulement être considéré comme un cheval de terrain souple, ne devraient pas être ridicules, à l'image des juments Brooke et Chiquit Indian, qui devront pour leur part rendre du poids, comme le régulier L'As de Gree, qui a repris du moral à Pompadour. Attention enfin au retour de Ma Valentine sur une piste en gazon !
