Canone du Bocage, auteur d'une encourageante course de rentrée il y a 15 jours sur ce parcours, devrait lutter pour la palme en compagnie de Carlito Téjy, confié à Jean-Philippe Mary pour une performance de choix, Classic Way, façonné avec la "méthode maison" par la famille Dubois, Caorches, à ne pas condamner sur son faux-pas du côté d'Angers, et Chic Gergaud, en mesure d'ouvrir son palmarès à l'occasion de ses premiers pas sur cette surface. Compromis de Laval mérite un certain crédit.
